Dynamic Communication & Talent Management

Increased competition and demand for talent, along with the staggering pace of global economic growth, is profoundly altering how companies attract, develop, and retain top talent. Among the top reasons candidates give for selecting “employers of choice” are career/personal development opportunities and a satisfying work environment (i.e., meaningful work, accountability, greater responsibility and decision making, competitive salary, benefits with high perceived value to the employee, community engagement, accessible management, flexibility).

Create an environment where employees want to work, and your company will outpace its competition. The growing shift to a blended workforce as well as downsizing, accelerated growth, outsourcing, and management changes may negatively affect productivity, customer service, sales, teamwork, and employee morale, leading to higher turnover and workplace conflict. Are you dealing with a manager or team member whose motto is, “I may not always be right, but I’m never wrong.” “It’s my way or the highway.” “But we’ve always done it this way.” “Are we having fun yet?” “An emergency on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.”

All behavioral types are present in every work environment, making it difficult to create a positive, productive culture unless everyone understands how each behavioral style prefers to be treated. But there is a way to develop the potential of all your employees, help teams work toward common goals, reduce conflict and turnover, and improve efficiency and productivity!

Dynamic Communication is a behaviorally based communication workshop that teaches employees, managers, and executives how to communicate using the DISC language as a way of understanding themselves and others. Participants receive a personal computerized assessment that helps them learn how to adapt their behavior (words, tone of voice, body language, pace of speech and actions) to communicate more effectively with others. Through group exercises, behavioral training, and the personal assessments, participants will learn:

  • What others with different behavioral styles want and how to adapt their behavior to match the other styles (communicate more effectively).
  • How others prefer to receive and process information (launch quickly into presentation or take more time to build rapport).
  • How others make decisions (logic versus emotion).
  • What motivates and drives people to take action (getting people to work together, incentivizing).

Workshops can be customized to focus on conflict resolution, goal setting, team building, communication, or other areas of concern. CEUs are available.
